The Jeenee Assist from Jeenee Mobile gives those you love the opportunity to live their best life, with peace of mind, knowing that help is just the press of a button away.
Don’t be fooled by providers who tell you there are no on going fees!
Personal alarms consist of 2 parts. One part is the device itself. This part is a bit like a mobile phone handset. The second part is the SIM card inside the device. Like the SIM card in your mobile phone, it needs the mobile network and credit to work.
You have two options to keep your alarm active: pre paid and post paid network charges.
Your Jeenee Assist comes with an always available post paid service from Jeenee Mobile to ensure your alarm will ALWAYS work when you need it, giving you complete peace of mind knowing you’ll have help when you need it.
If you choose a pre paid plan, you need to remember to keep topping up. If you don’t have credit available when the alarm is activated, it will not send out the alerts, which makes the alarm useless. A pre paid option may look cheaper at first, but how would you measure the cost if the personal alarm didn’t work when you needed it?
Most people today have voicemail on their phone or simply can’t get to the phone every time it calls. Using our Australian based 24/7 Answering Services, you’ll have total peace of mind, knowing that someone will always be there to answer the alert call. When the call is received by our qualified call staff, they will be able to assess the situation for you. They will then attempt to contact nominated contacts. They will also be able to assess if the situation needs to be escalated to 000 and can call them if required.
Your initial call to 000 will take you to an operator. Unless the alarm user is able to speak and recite their location, the emergency services may not be dispatched and a carer will not be contacted by the 000 operator. On the other hand, our 24/7 Answering Service operator will know who has set off the alarm, even if the alarm user cannot speak. They will access their files to accurately assess the situation and be able to take the appropriate action. They will then be able to communicate instructions and a location to emergency services and will be able to follow up with contacts who could not be reached by the alarm. You have total peace of mind that all emergencies will be followed up and escalated if needed.
As part of your purchase, you will access to the Jeenee Mobile App which will allow you to monitor your usage. We will also send a message to a nominated number, with advice on how much data is left on the device as well as notification of any top ups.
At Jeenee we are the only provider of SOS alarms that is also a Mobile Phone service provider this gives us the unique ability to be able to offer a cost effective monthly plan that includes 60 minutes of calls and 100 texts. If the credit is used it will automatically top up for another 60 mins and 100 texts for only $5 this gives you the complete peace of mind that Jeenee Assist will be there when you need it most.
In the event of loss of a rental device, you will be charged the current recommended retail price of the Jeenee Assist, minus 50% of the rental fees you have already paid to Jeenee Communications.
The Jeenee Assist is a product from Jeenee Mobile, an Australian owned social enterprise telco with thousands of loyal customers around Australia. You’ll always deal directly with Jeenee Mobile, so you can be confident you won’t get the run around, get lost in the crowd or passed on to another company if there are any issues. Our customer service team is right here in Australia, giving you total peace of mind.
Jeenee Mobile provides the best possible service to our customers, while continuing to put our profits towards helping others in the community.
Jeenee Mobile grew from a simple idea, to help ALL Australians be connected. The idea turned into establishing a telecommunications company that Makes A Difference in people’s lives and gives people peace of mind and independence.
Jeenee Mobile was conceived by Community Connections Australia, a not for profit disability service provider that has been helping people living with disability enjoy active and visible lives in the community for more than 28 years. Community Connections Australia saw an opportunity for people to connect with those around them – their friends, families, carers and the organisations that provide support – through mobile technology. And so the Jeenee Mobile idea was born.
Jeenee Mobile and Jeenee Assist use the Optus Mobile Network, which covers 98.5% of the Aussie population. We recommend that you check on the Jeenee Mobile website to see if you get reception in your area.
